CORN: As of 7:45 – Steady

Slightly weaker overnight as the trade awaits the USDA August S/D report today.  It will be interesting as this is the first report that the media doesn’t get to see early (In the past they have been able to see the data early in “Lockdown room” and then have time to write their articles so they were ready to be sent at 11:00 am)…….will we see more fireworks today since everyone will be seeing the data at the same time?

SOYBEANS: As of 7:45 – Down 4
Very similar to the corn comments above…..waiting for the report.  Hot weather and lack of precip chances for the next few days across the upper Midwest looks to stress the bean crop.

WHEAT:  As of 7:45 – Mpls Down 1, KC Up 1
All eyes are watching what USDA does to wheat and feed grain productions numbers in Europe and the FSU.  It seems that we see daily reports of analysts lowering production levels there.
