AGTEGRA TO OPEN NEW FEED AND FARM STORE IN MURDO

May 19, 2020

Agtegra is opening a new feed and farm supply store in Murdo, S.D. on June 1. The store, which is located in the heart of Murdo, will have everything from livestock feed to farm supply items on hand.

While the store will officially be open June 1, an open house event will take place on June 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Agtegra employees will be on hand to meet with local residents and will be offering food, beverages and door prizes. The open house is open to the public.

“We are very excited to be in the Murdo area and look forward to having Agtegra a part of that business community supporting the farmers and ranchers,” said John Husk, Agtegra COO.

The Murdo location was once operated by Farmers Union Oil Company and became part of Agtegra last fall, after a merger.

“When we merged, we took immediate steps to clean up the location and adjust our focus to operating the unmanned cardtrol fuel pumps only through the winter,” said Husk. “During the winter we assessed the area needs and how to establish a larger presence for Agtegra to serve the farm and ranch communities in the area, and decided to begin offering feed, petroleum products, some livestock supplies and packaged crop protection products.”

According to Agtegra Feed Manager Scott Kilber, in addition to livestock feed and farm supplies, the store will also have pet food, basic animal health products, livestock equipment, grease and oil, packaged chemicals, twine and net wrap and even Traeger Grill products for sale.

In addition to feed and farm supplies, the Agtegra Murdo Store will also continue to provide fuel resources at the cardtrol fuel pumps.

The Murdo location is in an ideal site and sits in close proximity to a number of large-scale farms.
