Mar 17, 2021

Agtegra Cooperative today announced an internal leadership promotion that will further strengthen Agtegra’s innovative capabilities and support its long-term growth.

Kent Borstad is being promoted to Senior Vice President of Energy and will join Agtegra’s senior leadership team. Borstad will continue to lead Agtegra’s energy department, where he has built upon Agtegra’s strong foundation by implementing aggressive growth strategies, providing best in class customer service, and quality products for our member-owners.

Borstad has been with Agtegra for three and a half years. He started as the Ipswich Location Manager and has worked his way up to his current position. “The values of a co-op and its members working together towards the same goal, is something I enjoy being a part of,” states Borstad. “I’m excited to join the senior leadership team during this high growth period and look forward to continuing to help serve our member-owners and communities.”

“As we work to position energy as our third core business, it only makes sense to elevate Kent to the senior leadership team,” said Chris Pearson, Chief Executive Officer. “Kent brings extensive experience and expertise that aligns with our overall energy strategy that will further advance our cooperative for the future.”

Agtegra’s senior leadership team comes with a broad range of expertise, knowledge, and decades of experience. Borstad joins Chief Executive Officer Chris Pearson, Chief Operating Officer John Husk, Chief Information Officer Dan Rosenbaum, Senior Vice President of Grain & Rail Marketing Jason Klootwyk, Senior Vice President of Agronomy Daryl Molskness, Interim Chief Financial Officer Dean Reder, and Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Organizational Development Jane Kuhn.

“These senior leaders have been key contributors in our growth and will continue to help advance Agtegra to best serve our member-owners well into the future,” states Pearson.
