NORTH STAR ENERGY BECOMES PART OF AGTEGRA COOPERATIVE

At Agtegra, safety is always a top priority. With an entire division dedicated to ensuring a safe workplace for both employees and our customers, our team is always brainstorming new strategies to address potential hazards before they become an immediate danger. 

Rick Osterday, along with his wife Sandy and their two sons and daughters-in-law, Blane and Liz and Clay and Erin, are the fourth and fifth generations to operate their family farm near Java, South Dakota. They raise corn, soybeans, spring wheat and hay, as well as run a registered and commercial cow herd and background feeders.

Being able to do something every day that he is passionate about and doing it with his two sons is what Osterday finds very rewarding and what he loves most about agriculture. 
 
“You always learn new things daily. Recently, it was how to remove a rotor gear box on a combine,” says Osterday.

Agtegra Cooperative is pleased to announce that it has finalized the acquisition of a minority interest in EGT, LLC, which operates an export grain terminal in the Pacific Northwest that is fed by four high-capacity elevators in Montana.
