NUTRIENT IMPACT TIMING

Jul 13, 2020

Recently, Agtegra launched a Spray on Profits offer to enhance plant performance and uptick yields.  The offer is simple as farmers can work with their agronomist to select the appropriate Fungicide, Micronutrient and Insecticide products to receive delayed payment terms.  The products listed will give row crops a boost during the V4-R2 growing stages to support pod retention, maximize the size of pods and push seed weight.

Research trial findings are the driving force behind the Spray on Profits offer.  As you can see below, the Agronomy Research team concluded that the application of Micronutrients and Fungicides between the V4-R2 growing stages lead to a net gain of $20+ per acre.  With no treatment at the R2 stage, soybean seed size averages came in smaller (approximately 6% less) with a higher variability in size.  Seed fill and seed size, which results in higher testweight, is an often overlooked component of increased yield.

In 2019 trials alone, the research team clearly saw a large return on investment opportunity using products In-Fuze and MicroSul.
