Agtegra Announces New VP of Operations, Operational Excellence

Agtegra Cooperative is pleased to announce Ethan Taube as its VP of Operations, Operational Excellence. Ethan has been in the agriculture field for the past 20 years. He started his career in grain and logistics and has held several leadership positions within the industry, most recently as Northeast Region Manager.
 
In his new role, Ethan will oversee capital management, asset maintenance and reliability, equipment sourcing, contractor services, and the development and deployment of Agtegra's engineering equipment standards and specifications.
 
"These organizational changes and Ethan's leadership and experience will help accelerate our response to evolving customer expectations and performance goals across all areas of Operations with the intent to ensure our assets are capable of safely and efficiently serving our customers well into the future," says Agtegra Chief Operations Officer Mike Rizor.
 
Ethan's team will collaborate with Operations to standardize and implement the best operational practices across all Agtegra locations. Additionally, the team will ensure continued improvement in our ability to deploy capital and improve the reliability of Agtegra's extensive asset infrastructure.
 
Ethan was raised in Southeastern Iowa. He and his wife, Desiree, reside in Aberdeen, SD, where they are raising their three children. In his spare time, Ethan enjoys camping and being outdoors.

Jeff Lakner of Wessington, South Dakota was inducted into the South Dakota Cooperative Hall of Fame on Monday, August 3, 2026, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Jeff served two decades on the board of directors for Agtegra Cooperative, helping guide one of the largest farmer-owned cooperatives in the United States through periods of significant growth, modernization and strategic investment.
