Agtegra Cooperative Donates Over $15,000 to Area Charities and Organizations

Aug 27, 2021

Agtegra, a full-service agricultural cooperative, is pleased to announce several charitable contributions to area charities and organizations in the total amount of $15,000. The generous donations were a result of proceeds from the Leadership Team getting dunked for charity. Seven members of the Leadership Team volunteered to get dunked for 15 minutes, with all earnings collected during their 15 minutes given to an area charity or organization of their choosing. The Leadership Team also agreed to match their earnings from their time.

“It was a great opportunity for both customers and employees to have fun at the Leadership Team’s expense,” states Daryl Molskness (SVP, Agronomy), “with all the proceeds going to good causes.”

Charities and organizations benefitting from these donations include Local FFA, Darwin Sauer Family, Ty Eschenbaum Foundation, Autism Society, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Purple Heart Homes.  These donations are a component of Agtegra’s Community Involvement strategy to make a difference in communities and people’s lives.

“Very few times in life do you get an opportunity to dunk a fellow colleague for a good cause,” explains Chris Pearson (CEO), “we are thrilled to be able to make these donations to these charities and organizations.”
