Agtegra Cooperative Members Elect Directors & Delegates at 2025 Annual Meeting

Agtegra Cooperative held its annual member meeting on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, where leaders announced the director and delegate election results and discussed the cooperative’s 2025 performance and vision for the future.
Agtegra Board President Rick Osterday chaired the official business meeting, which covered topics including the cooperative’s financial results, messages from management, election results and recognition of retiring director Steve Pfeifer of McLaughlin, South Dakota.
Board of Directors Election
Each year, there are five director positions up for election. Five members were elected as directors this year to serve a three-year term on the Agtegra Board of Directors.
Matt Johnson of Webster, South Dakota, was re-elected as a director to represent District 1. Johnson grows corn and soybeans alongside his brother and their families.
Heather Beaner of Mellette, South Dakota, was re-elected as a director to represent District 2. Beaner farms row crops alongside her husband on her family’s fourth-generation farm.
Kim Vanneman of Winner, South Dakota, was re-elected as a director to represent District 3. Vanneman operates a diversified crop and beef farm alongside her husband, son and daughter-in-law.
Caleb Wiest of Herreid, South Dakota, was elected as a director to represent District 4. Wiest will fill the director position previously held by Pfeifer. Wiest farms and ranches with his dad, his wife and their two sons.
Chad Boekelheide of Northville, South Dakota, was re-elected as a director at-large. Boekelheide grows corn and soybeans alongside his parents, brother and son.
President Osterday also announced the appointments of Kyle Anderson of Verona, North Dakota, and Steven Gill of Java, South Dakota, as the two members who will each serve a one-year term as nonvoting advisory directors for 2026. Anderson grows corn and soybeans with his wife on their farm. Gill runs a grain and feedlot operation with his two brothers.
During the meeting, Osterday thanked members Garrett Masat of Redfield, South Dakota, and Casey Nilsson of Mansfield, South Dakota, for their service as nonvoting advisory directors for 2025.
Agtegra recognized retiring board member Steve Pfeifer of McLaughlin, South Dakota, and thanked him for his dedication and contributions to the cooperative, his active role in making decisions and support of the cooperative’s future direction over the past 15 years.
At the board meeting following the annual meeting, the Agtegra Board of Directors held its annual reorganization meeting and re-elected the following directors as officers:
- President – Rick Osterday, Java, South Dakota
- First Vice President – Heather Beaner, Mellette, South Dakota
- Second Vice President – Matt Johnson, Webster, South Dakota
- Secretary – Steve Halverson, Pierre, South Dakota
Delegate Council Election
Agtegra’s Board of Directors is backed by a delegate council, which serves as a liaison between the directors and the members. Each year, there are 20 delegate positions up for election. The following members were elected or re-elected as delegates this year to serve a three-year term on the delegate council:
District 1: Justin Deutsch of Langford, South Dakota; Casey Nilsson of Mansfield, South Dakota; Matthew Sperry of Bath, South Dakota; Carson Stange of Stratford, South Dakota; and Mike Vogel of LaMoure, North Dakota.
District 2: Mark Boekelheide of Northville, South Dakota; Nathan Glanzer of Carpenter, South Dakota; Randy Nelson of Carpenter, South Dakota; Rory Troske of Turton, South Dakota; and Eric Zell of Cavour, South Dakota. Nicole Erasmus of Huron, South Dakota, was elected to a one-year term in a special election.
District 3: Ryley Beidler of Orient, South Dakota; Tom Hills of Kennebec, South Dakota; Liam McManus of Reliance, South Dakota; Ronnie Prien of Stickney, South Dakota; and Slade Roseland of Faulkton, South Dakota.
District 4: Don Eberle of Strasburg, North Dakota; Steven Gill of Java, South Dakota; Andy Hulm of Hague, North Dakota; Candice Mizera of McLaughlin, South Dakota; and Ashley Terhark of McLaughlin, South Dakota.
