Celebrating 5 Years as One Cooperative

Agtegra celebrated its fifth anniversary as one cooperative on February 1, 2023. Forming from the unification of two farmer-owned cooperatives, Agtegra has become one of the largest locally-owned cooperatives in the nation. In fact, the unification itself was the largest locally-owned co-op merger in U.S. history at the time of the merger. 

Five years later, Agtegra has continued building upon its legacy-rich history. From expanding existing facilities to adding locations and services, Agtegra continues to answer the question of “How can we better serve our member-owners?”

For Steve Pfeifer, farming is so much more than caring for the land and livestock — it's about being able to pass that love for the land to the next generation.
