HERE FOR OUR LIVESTOCK SHOWMEN

Jun 17, 2020

For many livestock showing families, summertime means a calendar filled with weekend jackpot shows, county fairs, and many hours spent in the barn getting animals ready for the show ring. Those long hours devoted to training animals, adjusting feed rations, and creating a daily chore routine paid off when those animals received a top ribbon placing at the state fair, the exhibitor finally won that showmanship contest, or the judge congratulated that family for raising and feeding a high quality animal. Those moments and the lessons learned from them make the hard work and dedication all year truly worth it.

However, the events of this spring and early summer have likely changed those dreams. State fairs are being canceled across the country. County fairs are faced with new limitations. National shows relocate to states with fewer restrictions. Nailing down a schedule for the rest of the summer seems just out of reach right now for livestock showmen across the country.

We know this summer looks a little different than you expected. In an ever-changing world, let our nutrition options be a constant for your livestock.

Here at Agtegra, we understand there is still much unknown about this livestock showing season. No matter which direction your livestock are headed this summer, we are here to help you plan your livestock nutrition plans every step of the way. Visit with your nearest feed location or Dakotaland Feeds sales nutritionist about the different options available to you.
