Dec 07, 2022

Agtegra Seed & Technology Specialist Allison Mockler was recognized as a Rising Star at the 2022 Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) Conference & Expo held on Nov. 28 - Dec. 1 in San Diego, California.

Mockler graduated from South Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural leadership in 2019. She joined the Agtegra team in November 2020 in her current role where she helps customers and agronomists with their ag technology products. She has also been heavily involved in the implementation of MZB Analytics and helping farmers load and analyze their field data.

“Allison’s ability to navigate and lead a team is what makes her stand out as a young leader in our industry,” said Brett Harrison, Agtegra Director of Crop Protection. “Her ability to not only expose growers to innovative technology platforms, but to also help with tech service calls on old or outdated monitors has proven her to be a necessity to our company and our customers.”

According to the ARA, the Rising Stars program is a meaningful way for ARA member companies to nominate emerging leaders to be recognized for their work in front of hundreds of industry professionals and to explore new ways to hone their leadership skills.

“Being able to connect with like-minded individuals is a reward, and I am glad I can represent our cooperative at an event like this,” said Mockler.

As part of the Rising Star program, Mockler traveled to San Diego for the ARA Conference & Expo where she was recognized on stage for her award. Each Rising Star also completed the ARA NAVIGATOR 360° online leadership assessment, which is a tool developed for agricultural leaders to identify their strengths and areas they could continue to grow.

“There’s nothing more exciting than watching my team and our customers achieve their goals, and I strive to be that leader for those people,” said Mockler. “I'm so grateful to be part of the Agtegra organization that introduces me to these awesome opportunities. Thank you to the Agtegra employees who nominated me for this opportunity to represent our cooperative.”
