Relocation of Wolsey Innovation Center

Oct 11, 2021

Agtegra Patrons:

We are excited to announce that the Wolsey Innovation Center (IC) is being relocated to the Huron Agronomy location and will operate out of their own dedicated space on the east side of the existing heated Agronomy warehouse.  This change will also move the current Huron custom application fleet, support equipment and related employees to the Wolsey Agronomy location.  Huron Agronomy customers utilizing our custom app services will not see any disruption of service as we will continue to leverage our centralized dispatch and fleet management system to maximize efficiencies.  We intend to have these changes fully implemented by Nov 1st.  Huron Agronomy customers will continue to pick up seed, chemical, fertilizer and access Agronomy personnel at the Huron Agronomy location.

The IC team has provided great customer service and high-quality agricultural products out of the Wolsey Agronomy location since 2012.  Product offerings and service items have changed significantly since then and continuing to operate in shared warehouse space creates operational challenges.  The size of the equipment and planters our patrons operate continue to get larger, as well as the volume of seed/CPP products moving in and out of the warehouse during equally busy times of the season.  This move brings action items for our Agtegra team.  Several modifications will be needed to operate a point-of-sale business out of the new IC location.  This will include a dedicated storefront on the east side of the warehouse with a parts counter and showroom space.  Other items include a larger overhead door, better lighting, and additional parts bins for organizational upgrades.  All upgrades should be completed by the end of Q1 2022 with the showroom and point of sale area taking highest priority.

Agtegra appreciates your patience as we grow to better serve your needs.  For Additional Information or Questions please reach out to:

One of the most distinctive aspects of the Agtegra First internship program is that interns leave with far more than just a résumé boost — they gain meaningful, hands-on experiences that reinforce their academic learning and often shape their future career paths. In return, these interns bring fresh perspectives and valuable contributions to the cooperative, leaving a lasting impression that can influence Agtegra’s future in powerful ways.
